Lorde has officially returned! Having already teased fans for a while on social media, the New Zealand native’s brand new single comes as her first solo effort since 2014. Titled ‘Green Light‘, the dance-pop tune sticks to her previous comments about the track which she described as “very different, and kinda unexpected. It’s complex and funny and sad and joyous and it’ll make you DANCE.”
In yet another commendable effort by Lorde, the track makes up for an ingenious and fitting blend of powerful vocals and a dance-influenced production as the songstress steals the spotlight within an instant. Moreover besides the release of her highly awaited single, the female prodigy also announced her sophomore album. Titled ‘Melodrama‘, her upcoming record is set to be unveiled later this year.
