With unreleased material already being featured on label compilation 08, Lane 8 is back on Anjunadeep, this time with a rather interesting collaboration with Matt Relton aka Kidnap Kid. With their unique style of creating melodic electronic music, it just made perfect sense for the two to finally join hands to create something superior and here we have it, their new single ’Aba’.
Starting off with a sweet melodic synth pattern, chopped vocals are flown into the background with warm kick drum that we know of both artists’ personal arsenal. The piano riffs create a harmony throughout the buildup to release into a soothing and mesmerising climax. ‘Aba’ is a perfect amalgamation of Daniel and Matt’s signature styles with Lane 8 vibes slightly dominating though.
