Alesso‘s penchant for melodic progressive house gems continues to hold a place of its own within the vast dance music space. And over the years, the Swedish talent has effortlessly delivered some of the genre’s most memorable tunes. And now to expand his catalog even further, it looks like the ‘Reload‘ hit maker has taken on The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s massive collaboration.
Debuted by Axwell /\ Ingrosso during their NYC show this past weekend, the Swedish heavyweights played out Alesso’s forthcoming remix of ‘Something Just Like This‘. Captured by a fan in full glory, the rework is everything you could have hoped for as signature builds paired with Chris Martin’s vocals quickly break into a beautiful blend of soaring progressive synths and an ample dose of percussion for maximum impact.
