Tiësto & Paul Van Dyk Have Traveled More Than Any Other Musician In The World!


In the present era where electronic music has spread its reach throughout the globe, the ever-growing genre continues to prove itself as one of the most accessible genres, even surpassing the likes of pop and rock music when it comes to live performances. And the previous statement certainly holds true with producer/DJs who have raked up some serious air miles over the years with the outrageous amount of touring which takes place as compared to pop and rock music acts who head out on a tour once or twice a year.

And as per a recent survey by Travelbird, they have ranked musicians on the basis of the total travel distance for all national, continental and world tours from the beginning of their careers, including arena shows and festival appearances. Moreover, the statistics also shows exactly how many times around the world each artist could have traveled, as well as how many times they could have flown to the moon.

Surprisingly, two Dutch heavyweights Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk grab the top two spots on the list with a cumulative total of 1,557,131 miles and 1,442,993 miles respectively. And both of them have traveled enough to make 6.52 and 6.04 trips to the moon and back! An interesting list which is ought to offer you with proper insight, legendary acts like Bob Dylan, Metallica, Aerosmith, U2, Snoop Dogg amongst others round up the Top 10.
