While Deadmau5 unarguably stands out as one of this generation’s most celebrated producers, his highly popular headgear has officially secured a place within pop culture. Famously known as the mau5head, Twitter user Teeroy666 recently released footage of one of Joel Zimmerman’s first performances with his helmet in place.
The video starts off with the red mouse helmet in a box complete with flashing light bulbs for eyes. We then move forward where we see a young Zimmerman mixing at a place much smaller to the huge clubs and festivals he is used to now. Check out the tweet by deadmau5 himself and the video below.
