Starting off 2017 right, Passion Unleashed are all set to throw down a series of massive shows later this week with dance music heavyweight Carnage! Having already played at some of the world’s biggest dance music festivals including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and many more, the festival trap purveyor is set to carry out two colossal performances in Mumbai and New Delhi on 20th and 21st January respectively. With additional support by one of India’s hottest dance music acts, Lost Stories, the audience can be assured for an explosive and memorable experience.

Chipotle connoisseur and “A State of Carnage” leader, Guatemalan-American producer/DJ Carnage has risen up the ranks over the years to officially place himself as one of the biggest dance acts! While the talented act went into the dance music industry inspired by the likes Above & Beyond’s Oceanlab project and the sounds of hardstyle, Carnage shot himself into the spotlight with his signature hip-hop-influenced electronic creations. Moreover, the ferocious act has often been dubbed as the “King of Festival Trap” owing to his bass-heavy creations and seismic live performances.

Carnage stepped into the industry early during his life at the age of 16 when he started playing small clubs in his hometown of Guatemala before he became highly active on the production front. With the goals having already been set high, the talented act quickly began to make a name for himself with collaborations with multiple singles, EPs and even collaborating with Foreign Beggars.

As 2012 began to unfold, he found a place under the spotlight following a massive joint effort with A$AP Rocky and Theophilis London for “Big Spender”. And while the track created a serious hype, exploded onto the dance music scene with his highly acclaimed remix of Hardwell’s 2012 hit “Spaceman”. As the producer hit a purple patch, he owned the year with other successful releases such as his “Bang!” EP on Fool’s Gold, “Loaded” with G-Eazy and even a debut collaboration with Borgore for “Turn Up”.

As the prodigious beat-maker stepped into 2013, he joined forces with Israeli dubstep heavyweight Borgore for “Incredible”. One of the biggest tracks to be unleashed in the dance music circuit, the big room record continues to remain a festival classic. With singles including “Michael Jordan” with Tony Junior and “Signal” with New & Used which consequently dropped later during the year, Carnage also carried out mammoth debut performances at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland and several other festivals around the world.

With his passionate fan base which is often dubbed as the “Chipotle Gang” being equally responsible for his meteoric success, Carnage steadily achieved headliner status as he made his way in 2014 in grand fashion.

Unloading his bundle of bass upon dance music fans around the world, the ASOC ringleader delivered with tracks like “Krakatoa” with Junkie Kid, “The Underground” with Alvaro and many more. Moreover, Carnage also joined forces with hip-hop outfit Migos for their monumental crossover collaboration, “Bricks”.

2015 proved to be one of his biggest years till date as the bass music proponent churned out massive singles like “Toca”, “I Like Tuh”, “WDYW” and even bagged an official remix for Avicii’s “Waiting For Love”. Moreover, with the release of his debut album “Papi Gordo” which followed later during the year, Carnage knocked it out of the park with a star-studded effort with guest features by Rick Ross, A$AP Ferg, KSHMR and many more.

Dance music’s crossover hip-hop producer put yet another successful year in the bag as he dominated 2016 with several hit singles like “Rari”, “Mase In ‘97” and “Don’t Call Me” and several festival performances including his landmark set at Ultra Miami. Dabbling between hip-hop and dance music like only he can, Carnage also tried his hand at psy-trance with his most recent effort “PSY or DIE” with Timmy Trumpet.

As the heavyweight act looks to ace and hone his craft with each passing day, Carnage has consistently added quality productions and colossal live performances to his repertoire to become a popular name within the music industry.
