One of the most successful trance artists, the German duo, Cosmic Gate are set to release the first chapter of their 2017 album, Materia this month. For the first single, they have unleashed a sure fire collaboration with JES, “Fall Into You“. Nic Chagall and Bossi’s past work with JES isn’t unknown. Their collaboration ‘Jai’ from their last album Start To Feel was a dancefloor-shattering release full of emotions and energy. They have followed it up with the best way imaginable (and audible)!
“Fall Into You” introduces itself with Cosmic Gate‘s powerful and gritty synth riffs while the melodic pieces slowly come to foreground from a distance. Soon the atmosphere promptly shifts towards JES‘ mind blowing vocals taking the listeners from the chaos to the bliss! With an emotional story that the song is telling, the synths and beats slowly start to appear, only to deliver the uplifting power. As the drop unleashes moving synth chords, the track takes you on a journey with the energy of a powerful baseline and punchy drums. With a small breakdown with JES’ vocals, Cosmic Gate’s dominant electro riffs creep back into the mix to take you further.
As Nick and Bossi said about the album, putting the album together turned into a defining experience. As they progressed, more and more ideas turned up and in turn, more demos.
