If you’ve been a Trance fan for some time, you must be aware of Ferry Corsten and Tiesto’s collaborative side project Gouryella. Started off in 1999, the side project went on to make new music for 2 years, until Tiesto parted ways with Gouryella, leaving Corsten to produce music for the project. Having resurrected the project once again last year with the single ‘Anahera‘, Corsten brought back the unique Trance sound that fans have loved, and went on to embark on a world tour, which saw him play at some of the biggest festivals across the world.
The Dutch veteran has now taken upon himself to tell the story of his journey under Gouryella through a documentary, titled ‘From The Heavens‘. Set for a release in 2017, the documentary saw the release of its trailer, featuring the main man Ferry Corsten himself, as well as interviews from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, and a number of other veterans from the Trance scene.
