Porter Robinson and Madeon‘s union was never meant to be a short lived affair. Ever since the highly talented acts sent fans into a frenzy with the unveil of their highly awaited collaborative effort, “Shelter” has since then evolved into an expansive live show, and is now being pushed towards the next level.
In a remarkable association with Japan-based production company A-1 Pictures and Crunchyroll, the North Carolina-based artist has unveiled an enticing short film to accompany the phenomenal release. Written by Porter himself, the visuals further exhibit his love for Japanese culture and more specifically, anime. A six-minute journey full of twists and turns, the audience is introduced to protagonist Rin, who is living in isolation in a dystopian future, and courtesy the artist’s impressive story writing skills, an emotional and incredible affair awaits you.
