Having released his latest “Divina/Crush” EP and a tuneful remix of deadmau5’ legendary ‘Strobe’, This Never Happened label founder, Lane 8 has now dropped another intriguing remix that is a rework of RÜFÜS’ popular track, ‘Innerbloom’. The Leipzig based producer adds rolling percussion and a fresh flowing lead that transforms the original into a soft and haunting composition. His signature progression of dense synth chords is noteworthy, as he builds through that layers of subtle deep house elements and still manages to keep intact the tender desolate nature of vocals from the original. Lane 8’s remix of RÜFÜS’ ‘Innerbloom’ lands on October 21st. Until then, enjoy the preview below:
