Daft Punk sent fans into a frenzy when they made a subtle yet explosive return in the form of a massive collaboration with R&B star The Weeknd. Teaming up for “Starboy”, the lead single from Abel’s upcoming album has received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike.
While the track itself failed to meet expectations from many due to the lack of grandeur despite the presence of the French visionaries, it still continues to rake up a massive amount of plays around the world. And now to many die-hard fans’ rejoice, Samuraiguitarist has re-imagined the eclectic tune in the most fitting fashion.
The talented multi-instrumentalist has delivered a phenomenal cover which packs in heavy influences from the duo’s 2013 release, “Random Access Memories”. With an addictive bassline leading the way, their signature work has been imitated even further with lyrics being sung through a talkbox.
