Preview: Sequ3l – Timelapse [EP]

Preview: Sequ3l - Still Moments In Everday Life (Original Mix)

Ever since Nakul Ambilkar’s breakthrough track “We Evolve” showed up on Markus Schulz – Buenos Aires ’13 compilation, the Pune-based electronic producer has been a big player in the Indian underground dance music circuit, dishing out dark tunes and tech-y sets under the elaborate guise of Sequ3l.

With things looking positive for this young producer, Juicebox music now brings to you Sequ3l’s much-awaited debut EP, releasing a tasting preview of it’s tracks: the name-donating ‘Timelapse’ and Still Moments in Everyday Life’ that are head-numbingly dark and delish.

For the momentous title track ‘Timelapse‘, Sequ3l sets the mood using smooth yet robust tones, with a guitar riff that slyly makes its way through until it expands into a fully blown out verse that is bound to have you swooning.

Meanwhile, in some darker dimension of reality, ’Still Moments in Everyday Life’ kicks off with a deeply intoxicating bassline, the track embodies a classic techno essence that only gets enhanced as dusty synths are introduced into its groove as light snares and darkness-destined pads trickle into the tune, all while maintaining a melody most ethereal.

The tracklist is most definitely a dark divination that embodies and displays the skill of Sequ3l who continues to find his way upwards with each new tune.

With support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Max Graham, John 00 Fleming, Nick Warren, Danny Tenaglia, Jeremy Olander, Edu Imbernon, Jonas Saalbach, Camel Phat, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh & more, the EP is set for an official release on 11th October, you can check out this EP for yourself with the links above.
