2016 has turned out to The Chainsmokers‘ biggest year yet. With two absolutely massive singles in ‘Don’t Let Me Down‘, and ‘Closer‘, the American DJ/Producer duo have been pretty essential in bridging the gap between dance music and pop music.
As ‘Closer‘ continues dominating charts all across the world, the single receives a remix from R3hab, who switches things up completely to surprise us with a mellow rendition. Tropical synths and laidback, chilled out vibes accompany the verse, with the breakdown going trap, making the remix quite a stellar effort from R3hab, who’s known more for his pumping, big room productions.
