It is officially the end of an era. Avicii, who was unarguably one of the iconic flag bearers of the global “EDM movement” has now bid farewell to touring worldwide. Having already penned a letter to fans back in March announcing his retirement, the Swedish heavyweight bid goodbye to the audience with a star-studded closing show of his Ushuaia Ibiza residency which he has been associated with since the past five years.
Accompanied by the likes of KSHMR, Mambo Brothers, Seeb and Albin Myers, Tim’s final performance was everything fans could have wished for. While there isn’t a possibility of catching him live any time soon, the “Levels” hitmaker hasn’t said no to making a return by any means: “One part of me can never say never, I could be back …but I won’t be right back.”
