Daft Punk And The Weeknd Reportedly Set To Collaborate For New Music!

Big news coming your way! Daft Punk who have moved away from the public spotlight ever since the release of their last album “Random Access Memories” which took over the world back in 2014 may potentially now have new music in the making.

In a recent discussion with Billboard where industry’s top hitmakers and influencers sat together, Wendy Goldstein, Executive VP and head of Urban A&R at Republic Records leaked major news to the viewers when she announced that they have an upcoming studio session between R&B superstar The Weeknd and the French visionaries.

“Well actually, we have a session coming up in two days that Ron set up with The Weeknd and Daft Punk. I’ve always been a massive Daft Punk fan so this is the first time that I’m actually involved with an artist who will work with them.”

Check out the video below where Goldstein makes the above statement at the 2:39 mark. And also coincidentally, The Weeknd himself teased a possible collaboration between them when he shared a photo of two Daft Punk action figures sitting atop a speaker! So much for a hint, eh?

Till further updates stay tuned and let the hype run riot!
