With the heat of a possible Coldplay concert towards the end of this year still rising rampant, we bring to you a new effort at remixing the legends, this time by the likes of a 21 year old Canadian Producer who calls himself Mankel, giving us his tropical house take on Coldplay’s impactful and memorable track ‘The Scientist’.
Whilst a decent attempt, the track comes across as somewhat off, due to the pace of the beats and cymbal sounds being faster than that of the vocals, making the track sound jerky and tangled. However, since we all know that converting a classic Coldplay track into a current-age house remix, it is only fitting to appreciate the soft and subtle piano work and smoothly sailing pads this fix incorporates, despite it’s shortcomings.
