Demur – Declaration [Free Download]

DEMUR essentially means to voice opposition. And to do exactly that, the anonymous LA-based artist has been on an absolute rampage to share his opinion on the currently “stagnated” dance music scene. While the entire project came to life back in December 2015 when a propaganda styled image cropped up on social media which took a jab at the current #1 DJ duo and their voting scandal, DEMUR has continued to call out mainstream acts and the creative drought that has struck the dance music industry over the past few months.

Now to back words with his own music, the act has unleashed “Declaration” which shows off some serious creativity and production talents. A metal influenced take on breakbeat which boasts of some heavy firepower backed by booming 808s and electric guitar riffs, the track captures angst against the current state of dance music in phenomenal fashion.
