Italian maestro Benny Benassi‘s collaborative effort with Gary Go for “Cinema” still stands out as one of the most iconic tunes in dance music history. Also, while the original is a classic in its own right, Skrillex‘s Grammy Award winning remix is as legendary as it gets. But did you ever think of receiving a remix of remix? If yes, then here is young talent Luca Lush who has gone a step ahead to deliver a blistering new take on Sonny’s rework.
For those who aren’t aware, Brooklyn-based producer/DJ Luca Lush is one of the hottest names in the SoundCloud world right now and has slowly raked up thousands of plays on his quality remixes and originals. And to further expand on his diverse showcase, his latest remix of “Cinema” will blow you right out of your senses.
The track kicks off with a hefty piano piece before the anticipation begins to build as Gary’s vocals come into action alongside a subtle percussion work. And very much akin to the original remix, “Drop the bass” marks the oncoming of a fast paced and chaotic load of choppy synths and a lethal sub-bass. And if round 1 was an ordeal, this next bit moves into peaceful pastures before it makes you run riot once again to end the proceedings with.
