Earlier last week, we reported about Swedish composer Hans Ek ‘s concept album ‘Dance Music Symphony’, in collaboration with Stockholm Philharmonic which boasts of orchestral covers of 17 of the most iconic electronic dance music tracks produced till date.
With tracks by the likes of Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia and more, the stunning orchestral reworks of each of the them speak for themselves and further make us wonder about the sheer legacy of each. A highly creative approach towards dance music, the seventeen track journey is a nostalgic yet phenomenal ride. ‘Dance Music Symphony’ will also be premiered at Bråvalla Festival in Sweden on July 2nd, where the live cuts will be performed by the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra.
