Watch This: Aphex Twin Unveils First Music Video In 17 Years Directed By A 12-Year Old
Aphex Twin
has remained to be a mysterious yet perplexing figure in the electronic music scene. As he lurks in the darkness far astray from the public eye, the Grammy Award winning producer continues to release music that only he can deliver.

As a follow up to his Syro LP which was released back in 2014 and the cryptic Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments pt2 EP, Richard looks to mark his return this year with his forthcoming Cheetah EP. Earlier yesterday, Aphex unveiled a brand new music video for the first track off the EP. Titled “CIRKLON3 [ Колхозная mix ]”, the accompanying visuals have been directed by a rather surprising 12 year old, Ryan Wyer from Dubin.

Yet another intriguing piece by Richard James, the video direction adds to the complexity as Ryan was commissioned for the job after the producer saw his work on YouTube. Aphex Twin‘s upcoming Cheetah EP drops on 8th July. Pre-order here.
