Skrillex & Justin Bieber Face Copyright Infringement Lawsuit Over 'Sorry'

Ironic eh? It looks like Skrillex and Justin Bieber may soon have to apologize to White Hinterland who has slapped the two collaborators with a copyright infringement lawsuit over the identical use of the “unique characteristics of the female vocal riff” from her original song ‘Ring The Bell‘.

According to reports, the female artist who goes by her real name Casey Dienel, had warned Bieber back in December which was met with nothing but ignorance. And if you are thinking how popular the original had become, White’s effort has been hauled by Rolling Stone and has gathered more than 800k streams. The similarities are hard to ignore with the vocal riff being sampled in JB’s track for a significant number of times. In her lawsuit, she has named Sonny, Justin and other writers and wants them to stop playing the tune once and for all.

A major hit for the two mega artists, check out the two tunes below and let us know what do you feel in the comments!
