21 year old Denzel Curry is a rapper to be reckoned with. The Florida based artist has been steadfast to tip himself as one of the brightest stars in the rap game, and it looks like Diplo has once again scouted a future superstar to incorporate his talents for a brand new collaboration.
In a live Periscope session which was streamed back on Wednesday, Denzel linked up with the Major Lazer frontman and Skrillex for a studio session where he reportedly threw some bars on top of some fresh new beats. In a conversation with XXL Mag, the rapper talked about the matter at hand and dished out on how the Mad Decent boss wanted to work with him. And about the collaboration they brewed up, he said:
“They told me to go in and freestyle and I was freestyling for a little bit, my voice was hoarse and then I was just like, ‘I need some water…I need some water. Take your daughter, I’ma transport her, take your bitch, I’mma transform her,’ all that shit and they were like ‘I fuck with that.’ So that’s like the hook.”
Also if you’re still trying to figure out the release date of the heavy collaboration, the rapper replied back saying “I can’t say when, but I’mma drop it.” Until further details crop up, stay tuned for more updates!
