As you would remember, two days ago, we reported about how deadmau5‘s SoundCloud account got hacked by a security group named Our Mine which resulted in a bit of a verbal tussle between the two and even had ordered a set of dildos to be sent to an old address of his. Now that’s just immature.
Although, earlier today Joel went on an extensive rant on Twitter once again after receiving an email back from the SoundCloud security team citing how he will remove his account as a consequence of the music streaming platform’s “shitty 3rd grade security“. As his frustration continued to level up, his plans to remove his account were met by sheer disappointment as it was frozen by the personnel at SC.
oh, im going to disable / remove my @soundcloud account until they fix their shitty 3rd grade security.

i dont think @soundcloud should be taking ANYONES personal information ESPECIALLY credit cards. if you were smart, you'd remove yours.
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
*only* that information eh… PHEW. im glad they ONLY had access to that. /kappa pic.twitter.com/LNkDxltW0A
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
well i SURE AM GLAD their access was extremely limited to….. EVERYTHING ON FUCKING @SOUNDCLOUD
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
and then they end the email with … "please let us know if you have any questions or concerns" …. uh… *raises hand*
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
and all @soundcloud had to do is pay a handful of devs to implement two factor seciruty, nope. they dont give a fuck.
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016
SO! having said that, if you're an artist, you can forget @soundcloud if you think your personal is secure. because it's obviously not.

.@SoundCloud @SCsupport i cannot access or remove my intellectual property from your site as you have frozen the account.
— dead mow cinco (@deadmau5) May 25, 2016

Upon deletion, deadmau5 found out that his long term account which goes by the username ‘fuckmylife’ had been scooped up by a lucky fellow who claimed it right after Joel signed off. With no sign of any original demos on the account, we’ll have to wait and see the solution he has in mind for the impending issue at hand. Till then, stay tuned for more updates!
https://t.co/q4MXn6rnBv scooped up by some swifty scrub. he can have it. no longer interested in their service. #RIPsoundcloud
