Dance Music Industry Worth $7.1 Billion As Per Latest IMS Reports

The 2016 International Music Summit in Ibiza is underway and in a brand new report given out by the summit, the details of the growth of the dance music industry has been listed out which have managed to dominate previous figures in a comprehensive manner.

As numbers suggest, electronic music has seen a colossal growth in the last three years having risen 60% to a total evaluated number of $7.1 billion and the attributed factors for the same is the persistent growth in the streaming market, new global regions for dance music like Asia and South America, and lastly the maturity of the USA market.

In addition, the Techno genre has toppled Tech-house to crown itself as the best-selling genre on Beatport. Also, further good news for drum n bass fans, the sales for the genre have increased the most since 2014, and has overtaken the likes of progressive house and trance to secure the sixth spot.
