Yesterday evening, the entire electronic music community blew up because the entire catalog of Spinnin Records and its sister-labels went missing from the Beatport store. Now as per an initial statement by the label giant on their Twitter, a few of their releases were unavailable. But upon checking, we weren’t able to find a single release by the label.
As one thing led to another, some even brewed stories that Spinnin and its sub labels were banned due to alleged reasons which claimed that the Dutch brand used bots to auto-buy tracks and so on. That being said, some even went on link it to Beatport’s recent announcement which will result in the shutdown of their streaming services, Beatport News and many other features to put focus back on their digital store.
Due to technical issues some of our releases are unavailable @Beatport. You can also find them on @Spotify! https://t.co/dGFkRU0Vct

An official statement awaited from either end, the SFX-owned platform finally put out a word on social media which put the blame on internal malfunction causing such problems and not a consequence of their restructuring process at all. Now back to normal, you can grab all your favorite tracks from Spinnin Records and co. on Beatport here!
No labels have been banned from store. We’re investigating the issue and expect music from all labels to be available again in a few hours.
