Arty Fights Back Haters Who Criticized His Live Set In Latest Facebook Post

Russian prodigy Arty is known for his melodic productions, original or remixes, be it in the trance or progressive house spectrum. The young talent who broke onto the scene with the colossal Vanilla Sky EP has been a staple act in the dance music industry and boasts of multiple tracks released on Anjunabeats and everywhere else.

With a debut album also under his belt, the highly respectable artist has recently moved into a new direction in terms of his formidable sound and what certainly hasn’t gone down well with some of his hardcore fans. As much as we would like to cite the examples of Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren to an extent, the Russian act is someone who still respects his original influences and happens to balance between older and newer sounds.

But if his recent Facebook post is to be reckoned with, the man faced some serious flak during his recent shows in Australia which made fans insult his live set and his music alike. As the post reads, he also came across fans who expected him to play “classic arty or classic trance” sets and eventually received messages calling him “garbage”, “edm nonsense” and everything else that is highly insensitive.

Arty also called out promoters who made him suffer delays in his set timings which almost ranged from thirty minutes to an absurd three hours. At the end of it all, the talented producer defended his position and wrote:

“You can say whatever you wanna say on the social media, PRAISE THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. But keep in mind, on the other side of the screen, there’s guy, just like you, who likes what he’s doing and he’s doing it for you in the first place.”
