Preview: Shiba San – Got Drunk [EP]

Dirtybird regular Shiba San has made quite a standing for himself right from the time of his breakout hit single ‘Okay’. Hailing from a hip-hop background, hence having funk influenced deep house productions, San outshines because of his unique style. The Paris-based DJ/Producer’s latest 4-track EP on Barcelona’s Suara is no different.  “Got Drunk” consists of two originals and two great remixes from house mainstays Emanuel Satie and German Brigante.

The pack kicks off with title number that is loud and appealing enough to get any night started with its weirdo synths and deep waves of rave sounds. While second original in the EP ‘Hard Day’ features trilling synths and rumbling vocals to form an avant-garde groove. From the remixes side, Emanuel Satie’s dark makeover of ‘Got Drunk’ touches tech territory built incredibly towards a massive drop and just as danceable. While German Brigante’s take on ‘Hard Day’ gives quite a similar electronic and deep feeling as the original, yet having an unmistakably infectious hook. Releasing this Monday on all digital stores.
