Avid fans know Showtek as the kings of hardstyle who were incredibly popular for their ravaging productions ever since they started out. But as the electronic music scene continued to make its presence felt over the world, progressive and electro house started to dominate clubs and festivals which sadly saw the Dutch brothers say ‘goodbye’ to the genre.
Although surprisingly, during a recent performance at MAYDAY in Germany, the highly enticing crowd saw the duo go back to their roots as they played out an unreleased collaborative remix with Italian act TNT of The Party Animals‘ track ‘Have You Ever Been Mellow’ which sounds like an essential hardstyle tune.
But then, it might even turn out to be a hoax considering the statement the brothers put out back in 2014 when they ruled out the possibility of them going back to producing hardstyle. But whatever may be the case, stay tuned for more updates and peep the unreleased remix below and hope for the best!
