It’s quite a challenge to remix a rock number, give it a whole new face and yet keep its most essential vibes intact. But deep house expert Solomun is certainly one of those DJs/Producers who are talented enough to do so. It is American alternative rock heavyweights Interpol’s ‘Everything Is Wrong’ from their fifth studio album El Pintor, that has received a timeless rework by the man himself.
While the original moves about thick post-punk character, Solomun’s take delves deep right from the start with his signature style of overwhelming deep house work. The dark atmosphere set by the producer seamlessly flows under the classic vocals from the original and would easily give any house fanatic a chill down their spine.
