Axwell /\ Ingrosso Have Decided To Split, Plan To Focus On Solo Careers

AXWELLINGROSSO

One of the biggest duos in the electronic music industry, Axwell /\ Ingrosso yesterday night announced that they won’t be working together anymore, claiming that the split is a result of creative differences between the two and are willing to focus on their individual careers.

Formed in 2014 after the unfortunate breakup of supergroup Swedish House Mafia, the joint effort of Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso had been quick to find success owing to their worldwide reputation and made their performance debut at the 2014 Governors Ball Music Festival in NYC.

As reports suggest, the sudden announcement isn’t to affect their friendship in any way and will continue to share the mutual respect they have for each other. With Axwell coming back into the frame with his recent solo releases such as ‘Waiting So Long‘, ‘Barricade‘ and his latest remix for Michael Feiner‘s ‘Mantra‘ alongside Seb‘s career that has found resurgence with his latest single ‘FLAGS!‘, this news didn’t seem too far away to come to the public eye considering how former fellow Swedish producer Steve Angello has been successful in revamping  his solo career in phenomenal fashion, including the release of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Wild Youth‘. Undoubtedly, two of progressive house music’s biggest faces, we would like to wish them all the success for their solo future and keep our fingers crossed for the Swedish legends to reunite in the near future as Swedish House Mafia.
