Preview: Bassjackers vs. Breathe Carolina & Reez – Marco Polo

Bassjackers vs. Breathe Carolina & Reez - Marco Polo

This recent preview of an upcoming collaboration between three powerhouse parties cannot get any better! Well-known for their smashing music, Bassjackers team up with the Denver band Breathe Carolina and the Dutch duo Reez for this pulsating track titled “Marco Polo“!

Bassjackers, the Dutch duo has been dropping bangers after bangers and recently have taken a futuristic turn with tracks like SPCMN and On The Floor Like. Breathe Carolina is a rising name in the dance music scene, which was originally a rock band. Their unusual sound with the amalgamation of rock and dance music is what sets them apart from the crowd. Having releases on Armada, Spinnin’, Maxximize, Doorn and many reputed labels, there’s no stoping to them!  Moving on to the third collaborating party and relatively a new name, Reez have been putting out quality music for a while now. A remix for Bassjackers in collaboration with the one and only KSHMR, a track featuring on Revealed Recordings’ Miami sampler, a release on Musical Freedom and the list goes on for a while. So this high-octane team up already looks promising!

The preview of “Marco Polo” gives a sneak peek into the second half of the track starting from the middle breakdown. You can easily imagine the storm that will be unleashed after the calm of breakdown from the monstrous chord progression on gritty saw synths. While the timely placed kicks and electro synth stabs are bumping the anticipation, the chanting vocal samples are adding a great amount of energy. The drop unleashes a blast of energy with punchy drums and perfectly layered synth sounds sliding over bouncy notes of lead melody. The touch of all the collaborating parties is easily audible in the track and I’m pretty sure this one will slay the dancefloors!

Already supported by the likes of Hardwell, W&W, Martin Garrix, R3hab, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Ummet Ozcan, Afrojack and many more, “Marco Polo” is set to release via Spinnin’ Records on April 15. Meanwhile, check out the preview below!
