Are you an electronic music fan? Do you like Star Wars? Then, get ready for the best piece of news you never expected to hear. The mega movie franchise has announced an upcoming Star Wars themed electronic album titled Star Wars Headspace. Curated by none other than legendary producer Rick Rubin who is responsible for creating innumerable hits for Kanye West, Metallica, Jay Z and more, the co-founder of Def Jam Recordings has enlisted some of the brightest talents from the electronic music landscape as the massive 15-track compilation will see tracks by Flying Lotus, Bauuer, Rustie, Kaskade, Bonobo and more. In addition, while talking to Zane Lowe, Fly Lo revealed that the artists were given access to archives of the sound effects used in Star Wars. Vintage huh? At this point, we can’t do nothing but let our imagination run wild as to what the producers have in store for us.
Star Wars Headspace is set for a digital release on February 19th while the physical copy will be available from March 18th via Hollywood Records. Till then, check out the tracklist below!
