R3hab & Ciara – Get Up (+ KSHMR Remix)

R3hab & Ciara - Get Up

It seems like Fadil El Ghoul, better known by his stage name, R3hab is experimenting with his sound. Generally known by the big room sound and festival bangers, R3hab took a drastic turn in his recent collaboration with BURNS, Near Me and now his latest track, “Get Up” featuring the American singer and songwriter, Ciara on vocals, seems like the follow-up experiment. A calming chord progression makes way  for the vocals and soon the bass kicks in with the piano hooks. The drop features moving percussion and piano-infused synth lead, setting a perfect party mood. The breakdown in the middle slows down as Ciara takes up with the vocals and the swift guitar chords builds up the track again to the groovy drop. “Get Up” has a whole another dance vibe than most of the hit tracks by R3hab. Kudos to R3hab on delivering this one.

After their last team up, Strong, continuing the collaboration, KSHMR gives an unconventional progressive  house remix to “Get Up“. At a slower tempo of 115 BPM, this progressive house tagged remix seems more of a moombahton track. Well, it’s KSHMR, so we better not bind his creation in a confined space. In this new style, KSHMR lets his creative juices flow and gives his signature touch of feels with pitch shifting and sliding synth lead, while the punchy kick throbs the hearts and the heavy bassline turns the room into a twerk house. One does not simply resist dancing on this bassline. Always adding something innovative to the track, KSHMR gives yet another banger which is sure to tremor the dancefloors.

Already having garnered the support from the likes of TiĆ«sto, W&W, Nicky Romero, David Guetta, Afrojack, Sam Feldt and Sander van Doorn, both the tracks are out now via Spinnin’ Records.
