It’s hard to choose a certain standout from the colossal 16 cut Worldwide Broadcast compilation which was recently dropped by LA based label OWSLA. But certainly though, one track far from contemporary is Skrillex & Team EZY‘s ethereal collaborative track titled “Pretty Bye Bye”.
The track gives you a proper throwback moment, when Sonny had a fond taste for melodic and minimal dubstep productions. Stepping away from his recent style of slapping bass and aggressive grungy sounds, this downtempo gem is one for the keeps. LA native Team EZY adds to the simplicity while NJOMZA lays down some emotional vocals in accordance with the lush lyrics. A 2-step garage beat influenced work with a distorted bassline, this one is a surprising yet stunning chilled out effort.
