Preview: Ramiro Lopez – Digging Deeper [EP]

Techno hot star Ramiro Lopez had a massive last year and is back once again on Coyu’s Suara imprint for an EP release that not only sounds especially diverse, but marks for a grand opening as well for Lopez this year. The brand new Digging Deeper EP that features three new tracks starts off with ‘My Cause‘ that is accompanied by American experimental artist Know Kontrol on the vocal duties. An emotive and acid based number, it is a seamless intersection of pop and techno. While the beautiful Ejeca remix of this one is for those who like it deep.

On ‘My Missing Part’ Lily Und Wolf provide exciting vocals topped over by Ramiro’s excellent production easy enough to take you on an emotive trip down the memory lane and grooving in no time. Closing the Digging Deeper EP is Lopez’s typical affair with ‘Aeon’, which is his stern take on techno featuring powerful, driving rhythms and snare clatters sufficient to hook you up to proper dancing scenes. With an excellent addition like that of Ejeca’s remix, Ramiro Lopez’s fresh package goes for a sure shot complete hit this season.
