Back in late 2014, deadmau5 had teased his mysterious Project Entropy tour which was accompanied by two cryptic video teasers. But out of the blue, Joel Zimmerman has teased two new track previews from the upcoming project on Instagram.
The two clips carry the project’s namesake and are sharp reminders to movie soundtracks. The first one titled “Alice awakens” makes use of a sound sample of the Mos Eisley Cantina song from Star Wars. Joel shows his darker side with this one as he crafts a dark inspired gem out of the funky and bouncy original.

Following the previous one is “Hopes Theme” which is more deadmau5 reminiscent and is characterized by some deep synth stabs and some high pitched ones. So as the mau5trap boss weaves his magic in the studio, we hope for the finished versions to surface soon enough. Till then check out the two previews!
