Two dance music giants, Hardwell and Afrojack have joined forces over a brand new track named ‘Hollywood‘. It’s been a long time since “Let The Attack Begin” took the clubs by storm and this new collaboration comes as a follow up to the aforementioned track. Logs at 1001tracklist suggest that both the Dutch DJs/producers have been testing this track for the crowds for a while now and it’s finally ready for the release. In the native styles of Afrojack and Hardwell, the track starts with melodic plucks unleashing the synth chords in the background through the increasing threshold of a lowpass filter. Hands-in-the-air buildup will take you to an energetic drop with bouncy synths and a moving bassline roaring over a punchy kick. A misc vocal sample is adding a bit of funk to the track during the momentary energy drop between the bars. The preview shows nothing new from Hardwell and Afrojack, but simply what they are best at. Not to doubt their expertise in the studio, but when it comes to the leaders like these two, the fans’ expectations always touch the sky and they always want to hear something new coming from them. ‘Hollywood‘ is a great track but it would have been a lot better with a little touch of experimentation.
