Brostep isn’t officially dead. Yet.
Love it or hate it, Skrillex’s old style was the reason for his meteoric rise in the industry, and it’s nice to see him stray away from his current stuff with Jack Ü for a bit.
Torro Torro’s ‘Make A Move’ is a fresh take on bangers, and being an official OWSLA release, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that the label boss cooked an official remix for the same. The remix starts off softly, with pads here and there, and vocals from the original playing along. Then comes the familiar riser, and following that you get the familiar Skrillex drop we all know and love (hate?), with a very industrial wobble bass, sounding like something Virtual Riot and Getter would make.
It was a free download via Red Bull’s official website a while ago, but they discontinued that for some reason. We’re happy that it has officially resurfaced, and you can listen to it on SoundCloud below and buy it on Beatport or iTunes:
