After a successful debut, Submerge and UK Trade and Investment are back in action with the second edition of The Exchange. This year, the forum transforms into a two day event and will take place at The Lalit, Mumbai on 3rd and 4th December. The event will be host to some eminent names in the list of speakers and moderators from the UK and India who will come together to discuss and share their thoughts about the music business. Speakers at the conference will also include regulatory heads, music label bosses, management agencies and Indian and international artists from the music industry.
The 2015 edition will also see the launch of their brand new LAB platform which can be outlined as” a think tank of creative individuals who are making a mark in production, design and technology.” The platform aims to be instrumental for creating dialogue between professionals who are the flag bearers of the scene. Following the ideology of “Create > Ideate > Exchange”, it is molded to be a free and open platform which will focus on gear, interactive media, innovations in the field and technologies and build a cohesive environment featuring people from the world of music, business and lifestyle all at one place. LAB Talks is a unique interactive Q & A session which will feature some of the most respected artists and professionals in the industry sharing their precious knowledge with the audience and sharing tips and tricks to help you excel. This is the perfect platform for budding artists as they’ll get to learn about the know how’s to be successful .The invaluable expertise is bound to prove extremely beneficial for up and coming individuals who are trying to make a mark in this widely flourished market. The Q & A session will be followed by a listening session which will be an extremely crucial part as the audience gets to add their own valuable input. Furthermore, the LAB NEXT session will put the spotlight on talented entrepreneurs from established organizations and propagators of successful startups in the field.
