While pop diva Adele had been causing tremors over the Internet with her latest offering from upcoming album 25, unlike many electronic artists, SBTRKT isn’t interested in that at the moment. Instead, the BBC Radio host has revealed a rework of the British singer’s ‘Chasing Pavements’ that is an unreleased number kept under squashing since 2008.
Giving the original a phenomenal transformation with stagnant synth noises complemented by cut off voiced chops and beautiful drum pattern, the masked beat maker SBRTKT proves once again to be a leader in his game. He notes in the Soundcloud description: “Was looking through old hard drive files and found this unreleased remix dub i made for XL back in 2008.” While there hasn’t been any word about whether the remix will see the light of the day, you can still listen to SBRTKT’s version Adele’s ‘Chasing Pavements’ from 19 below:
