Markus Schulz presents Dakota - Cathedral (Montreal) (Original Mix)

Without any doubt, as soon as any Markus Schulz fan gets a sight of the word Dakota, they’re driven by deep chills down their spine and we’re no exception either. What better way could be to bring more glory to the ever growing city series than involving some thrilling flavour of Dakota. A tribute to its after-hours culture, and an institution that Markus himself describes as the ‘Cathedral’, his latest presentation under the mysterious alias highlights the culture of city Montreal.

Purely mesmerising and contagious, ‘Cathedral’ is a perfect catalyst for those of you who push the boundaries beyond the club’s peak hours. The tech house begins with a typical bassline in the genre yet showcasing Markus’ unique style, and grows into a melodic, wicked and enormously haunting number with an elongated and teasing breakdown. Definitely one to loose yourself during any late night club hours, ‘Cathedral’ marks the first official release for Markus under his darker pseudonym Dakota for over a year. The track has been released via Coldharbour Recordings and you can get it now off Beatport. Stream ‘Cathedral‘ below:
