One of the most legendary progressive trance producers of the industry, Airwave is back on the forever magnificent label JOOF Recordings. A massive EP titled ‘Sadness In Black And White’ comprising of two tracks was recently announced by the man himself who took to Facebook to do the same. Technically a single track divided into two parts, ‘Sadness In Black And White’ has trance producer’s finest contributions showcasing best of his expertise.
A hard hitting bass line dominates right from the start of ‘Part 1’ until a touching melody is thrown in the elongated breakdown, accompanied by various atmospheric trancy elements and bursting beautiful piano riffs. The mesmerising sinking of the track comes back to life in a typical Airwave fashion; just adequate to touch thousands of souls at once at any midnight trance arena.
As if the first was less of a journey, ’Part 2’ is made by the legend even more trippy and will ultimately take you in a swirling quest. A perfect extension of the first, the enormous number will make you want for more of the similar Airwave kind. Eargasmic to the core, ‘Sadness In Black And White’ EP lands on Beatport on October 5th.
