Preview: Porter Robinson ft. Amy Millan – Divinity (ODESZA Remix)

Just when you thought a Porter Robinson production couldn’t get any better, ODESZA come swooping in and prove us all wrong. With Porter Robinson having announced a new remix EP for Worlds, and having already previewed two fantastic remixes from the EP, one from Mat Zo (Flicker) and the other from Galimatias (Sea of Voices), the North Carolina native has previewed ODESZA’s remix of his single Divinity, and we’re not entirely sure how to put down words for this mellifluous remix.

Giving the track their own touch, the duo from Seattle have turned ‘Divinity’ into a dream of sorts, where you just float away with the rhythm. Dreamy vocals that transport you to another dimension altogether, coupled with a fantastic arrangement of drums, synths and interspersed vocal chops strewn all over, the remix screams ODESZA all over. Hands down one of the finest remixes of the year, and one of the finest we’ve heard, this piece of art definitely needs to be in your playlist/library.
