Preview: Miguel Bastida – Whitness [EP]

Spanish record label Suara has consistently been bringing freshest of the talents in the industry, ones who were once beginners and have now evolved to be one of the most prominent quality producers in the industry. Up and coming producer Miguel Bastida is one artist who is following the same path.

The exceedingly talented producer comes from Spain and is all set to release his debut EP on the reputed label. Entitled as ‘Whitness’, the EP comprises of four tracks and showcases best of Bastida’s skills in the underground sound. The title track is a pure groovy one with a trendy sound and foot tapping pounding bass line to powder any dance-floor easily.

Second is ‘Wench’ which is elegant but heavy techno; hard on the edges and smooth throughout. The track ‘Soul Reactions’ comes with a powerful and driving melody which has also been reworked to perfection by Gorge in a delicate and full of quality remix. A super release on Suara, Miguel Bastida’s EP has already gained support from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Mark Knight, Pleasurekraft and Reboot to name a few. Stream the full EP below:
