The guy we’re about to tell you about might soon become an inspiration for you. Gerald O’Connor, who was at Creamfields with a bunch of his friends, managed to sneak backstage while some of the biggest headliners were playing, and even managed to catch up with a few of them. Want to know how?
Gerald was able to gain access to the backstage by smooth talking the guards into letting him, telling them that “a light needs to be propped, let me do it”. The guards let him, and the rest as they say, is history.

Gerald managed to get backstage when Steve Aoki was playing, even going on to hand him the cake for caking the audience, walking to the DJ booth and talking to the Aoki himself.
Being the cheeky lad he is, Gerald just didn’t stop there. He found two steel plates, and gave one to his mate Paul, and managed to get backstage again, telling the security guards “This guy is with me“, and Paul managed to meet Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (image below).
What a legend!
