Swedish bombshell, Avicii remixes the 1995 classic, ‘Insomnia’ ‘by the British dance legends, Faithless. Yup, you got that right!
With this year being the 20th anniversary of its launch, Faithless decided to bring in the celebrations to mark the occasion with a mind blowing rework of an otherwise unforgettable track, ‘Insomnia’. Even after the modern touch,‘Insomnia 2.0′ maintains most of the originality of the track and we couldn’t be more excited about this ‘face lift’. While Avicii keeps intact the trance elements that dominate the original, the increased tempo of the bassline hint towards the climax. Maxi Jazz’s deep vocals remain the focal point of production. The inclusion of pumping beats and drops keeps things interesting until the end. Having already been premiered during Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, this track has caught everyone’s attention.
