Jean-Michel Jarre & Armin Van Buuren team up to create 'Stardust'

Jean Michel-Jarre has been creating stellar waves in the dance music community lately, thanks to his incredible collaborations with M83, 16 Bit Lolitas, and Steve Angello that have gathered pervasive attention worldwide. And just when we thought that was it, he is back with an even bigger alliance that’s with none other than the Trance father himself, Armin van Buuren. The French producer does not have any history in making trance music, therefore when he decided to try his hand at its production, there could be no better choice than the “king” himself.

World premiered by van Buuren during his mainstage set at Tomorrowland, ‘Stardust’ flawlessly captures both of the legends’ signature sounds. With the underlying traditional van Buuren pure trance style and Jean Michel-Jarre’s vigilant synth work, ‘Stardust’ comes out as a magnificent experience. A phenomenal trance number with close resemblance to trance music that was prominent in late 90s, but certainly with spanking freshness all over, the track, as we made out of its response from the Tomorrowland fans, might be one of the biggest tracks of the year. Watch the story behind ‘Stardust‘ below and listen to it here!
