It’s the return of tech house fraternity’s tremendously talented producer Hot Since 82 to Moda Black. Though this time there isn’t anything fresh from Padley himself, but it is his collab with Habischman ‘Leave Me’ that has received a splendid treatment from none other than the techno legend Dubfire. The rework comes as a part of a two-track EP exclusively released on vinyl with its B side covered by a remix from Audiofly.
Dubfire had first heard the original during Lee Burridge’s Burning Man set and as he fell in love with the inspiring original, he later asked Padley to send him the parts. And the result is in front of us – a brooding, stripped down techno rework that is causing all manner of commotion for Dubfire and Hot Since 82 as well ever since. A bit of departure from his usual minimalistic and tough techno sounds, Dubfire’s remix of ‘Leave Me’ is one of the finest remixes he has ever done. Listen it below and purchase here!
