Daybreak

If you’ve been following Markus Schulzs work this year or even if you aren’t, the DJ has come up with a really interesting concept and has been celebrating his love for cities that have meant something to him by paying homage to those cities and creating really amazing new productions as a tribute to the same.

After Mumbai and London, July’s edition, also being the 7th entry into his chronicled production series for 2015 comes with the track ‘Daybreak’. The month of festivals, including the biggest of them all, Belgium’s ‘Tomorrowland’ has been his influence this time around. Markus Schulz has been a very important part of the festival line up in recent years clocking upto a collective of 16 hours over the two weekends last year. So it comes as no surprise at all that he has been entrusted with a starring role at the festival’s main stage – performing the Daybreak Sessions on Sunday.

Available on July 20th, via Coldharbour Recordings, ‘Daybreak‘ is his tribute to Tomorrowland and is perfect for the vibe the festival represents. Happy, energetic beats and a variation of drops is what the track is all about and it is best to describe the plethora of artists that play at Tomorrowland. After months of agony over the identity of this track addressed as the notorious ID at most of his recent sets, it’s a relief to know that it is finally out.
