Watch This: Former Oasis Guitarist Noel Gallagher Slanders Avicii; Says He Doesn't Know And Doesn't Wish To Know About Him

Prior to their disbanding, British rock band Oasis were considered one of the finest acts to come out of the UK, with one of their albums (Whats The Story) Morning Glory? managing to sell more than 22 million copies worldwide. However, former Oasis lead guitarist Noel Gallagher, in a recent interview with NME gave his own opinion on dance music that some would’ve probably expected from him, yet no one would’ve thought it would be this insane! There usually are a number of insults thrown towards EDM and its artists by artists from other music genres but this one seems to be rather harsh and strident.

I don’t know anything about Avicii. I don’t wish to know anything about Avicii. It sounds like a fucking artist from the Renaissance period. Is it like that David Guetta nonsense?

However, pointing his guns at Avicii and David Guetta, two of the biggest acts in the dance music industry, was not really enough for Gallagher as he then moved on to show his displeasure regarding the recent rule update in music industry, according to which all records must or are supposed to be released only on a Friday, which really does sound ridiculous. Well, someone had to do this! Check out what Gallagher had to say about this new update:

Says who? I run my own fucking record label, I’ll release mine on a Wednesday, just to be fuckin’ contrary. Friday? No, no, no, no, no, no, no […] Unfortunately, it won’t make shit albums any better, will it? They’ll still sound shit on fucking Friday.
